Kia ora my name is Kingston we have been working on building a stabilised marble run. We’ve started to do a sketch so we could get an idea on what we wanted it to look like. Then after we did our sketch we had to write the materials we needed to build it. Then the teachers will get the materials for the marble run. Some people have already finished their marble runs, but I am still working on mine. I don’t know if other people have made any demo marble runs but I’m pretty sure some of us have made one.

Do you have any ideas of  what makes a good marble run?

Hi hello

This week me and my class were learning about different types of media.

Media has three forms one is printing such as newspapers, logos, posters, books and more.

The second is broadcasts such as podcasts, radios, music, streams and channels.

The last form is online/websites like youtube, twitter, facebook and so much more so as you can tell there are so much media platforms around us its almost imposible to get away from social media.

On Monday and Tuesday I stayed home for the day because I didn’t  want to go and I like staying at home with my family. My class went on a trip. Then I also like doing cricket on Thursday with Arthur. also He was teaching us to play and we had to get our partners then Arthur had to give us the ball to throw to your  partners. You had to do over arm but it was fun to play cricket I felt happy to play but the guy teaching us was kinda mean and it was literary the worse but still love playing this sport and which was amazing.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I stayed at home for the day because my class went to camp to a place called El Rancho but I didn’t wanted to go camping because last time I went to camp I lost my voice so this year I decided  to not go to camp cause it would be also nice if I stay at home because I can help my mum with cleaning. On Thursday we had a game of cricket with Arthur it was fun but bot really at the same time and it was nice having to about cricket.

I enjoyed having the big cabins for us to sleep in but even better my friends were in there!We had free time at the park and it was amusing to be able to play at their own park and play basketball at the courts.I preped my bags in my room with my sleeping bag on the bed.We went to eat some food and the best food I had was probably the butter chicken,it tasted absoloute.The water slide was fun to watch but unfortunately I couldn’t go due to the lack of clothes I had.But I still had fun there at least.

My first day at El Rancho camp was fun but not better than Forest Lakes. The rooms are better but the food is not. The mud slide is more fun because the slide at El Rancho is too predictible unlike the mud slide at Forest Lakes but the ice cream is better at El Rancho.

Day 2 at El Rancho

My highlight was to learn to never do paintball again. It was so painful and I’ve got a bump on my back and a bruise on my thigh. My mum also brang me sour cream chips, hot chips and a bottle of E2. The escape room/the church challenge was my favourite activity. But half of the clues didnt mean anything. They just had a name and a number. But at least we beat the outside group that was trying to get inside the church. But overall El Rancho was pretty fun.

My name is Kaius and this is my El Rancho camp story and my favorite thing in the camp was the water slide. I really liked the water slide because I like how much speed you can get from just sliding down, it and my favorite thing to do on it is to go on my knees and go down with even more speed you can get with just going down the slide normally.

The sport I’m gonna talk about is soccer or football because it is my favorite sport to play in school and outside of school. I play it because it is really fun and it takes a lot of skill to master all of the skills and shooting technique my favorite shooting technique is the curve shot. I just like how the ball can go from straight then it curves and it is also the easiest shooting technique. But the hardest technique is the knuckle, it is really hard to hit the ball properly you have to get it perfect or else it won’t be that good. One of the best players at the knuckle ball technique is Cristiano Ronaldo, mostly young Ronaldo when he did the free kicks in Manchester United when he use to do the knuckle with lots of power and accuracy. He is my favorite player in football!

Human Flag Body

My name is Kaio and I am going to tell you about my piece of art.I chose my human flag body because it represents the flags my family are from.

Mainly I am Maori but I am also Scottish,Kiwi and Australian.

We sketched the flags and then used vivid and last we coloured it in with pastel.

I was pleased with my human flag.

It was interesting to see where other people are from.

The are my drawings I made on the 4th of March 2024.the characters I drew are Bardock,Zortro and Broly The Legendary Super Saiyan.

The 3rd one is a Broly 2 days before the other drawings and the 4th picture is the Broly after 2 days and I got a feeling I get better and better at drawing everyday.
