Today i learned about how to use Chromebook the easy ways. I did a poster for my shortcuts.  My favourite shortcut is the 3 finger swipe.

My favorite keyboard shortcut is Ctrl shift QQ which sign you out of your Google account

Today I learnt that there are some really cool shortcuts out there like control + and control – which zooms the screen in and out.

Control P is print – NOT paste, which is control v. Control W closes the tab that you are currently on.

I think I will use lots of shortcuts now as it will help me work faster.

We also looked at the different parts of our keyboard.

My favourite keyboard shortcut is… *DRUMROLL PLS* CTRL + Z because you can often accidentally remove something, and it works for many uses, including: getting back files, folders and, sometimes, tabs!

What do we do at our school ….

  At our school we do watercolor painting , bird posters and get free lunches .

Our school lunches are butter chicken , mac’n’cheese , spaghetti bolognese . 

Dessert watermelon , sponge cake , yogurt ,  fruit kebab .                              

The best thing we did this term in my opinion was the watercolor painting with Whaea Puhiwahine . 

At our school we do fun stuff . 

st Mary school fox-ton get mac’n’cheese nachos spaghetti and a lot of other stuff. we also get some dessert like yogurt or cake watermelon and fruit kebab. 

Because parents don’t have to pay for food.

And it teaches good and healthy food.

Are school is pretty small so it is easier to make food for all of us.

We have local lunches made here in our St Mary’s School @ Foxton so that parents don’t have to pay for lunches and also so that we know what food is healthy.

Over this year I have been learning about ai images. I mostly use the DeepAI image generator or the Hotpot one or the Bing AI one. How it works:

1. Enter a prompt

2. Some of them let you choose a style

3. Then press generate or create(Depending on which one you use)

4. Voilà! Your image is made!

Our Trip to Nga Manu!

We went to Nga Manu sanctuary.The whole school went to Nga Manu. We fed the ducks in our hands.Their beaks tickled.We also fed the eels.They were slimy and yuck. It was fun.

Back at the start of November, my family and I decided which college I would go to next year: St Peters, Palmerston North. I couldn’t decide between Horowhenua College and St Peters at first but then we discovered that the bus betweeen Foxton and Levin, where Horowhenua College is, would be $100 a week for me, where as the bus to St Peters is free. So – St Peters it is!

It is also good becuase I know several people there, including my old teacher and classmates, as well as my cousins. My great aunt and uncle’s house is just across the road as well, so thats great for before school! We got our uniforms secondhand from our cousins as well, which was really nice as otherwise they would cost hundreds of dollars…

I have a fun time playing cricket on the feild or under the trees with the junior kids at lunchtimes. We recently got a grant that means we got a whole lot of new sports gear. This included a lot of bright new cricket bats, balls and wickets!

Its really fun to play, even if it takes a while to learn, especially for the five year olds. It’s equal parts running, throwing and hitting, which makes it an all-rounder game.

I am 11 years and a year 6 old and from the Philippines now i am in New Zealand Xmas is right around the corner i am really excited about Xmas because it’s a holiday

I go to another school’s choir because our school doesn’t have one. It’s really fun becuase I love singing and my freind’s mum runs it. We go to lots of fun competitions. Earlier in the year we went to a competition in Palmerston North called Kids Sing. We won almost all of the awards, and we were the smallest choir there! I wish I had started before this year, because it felt like such a small time.

Our class has been making paper advent wreaths that we color in. We have done this before, last year, but it was still really fun and they look quite nice and really colorful already.
