This week we have been learning about Anzac animals. We had to find out how animals have been used during wars. I chose dogs because I think they are interesting. Here is my work.

Today we had to read a page about Anzac animals and how they were used during wars. We had to pick which animal we were going to learn about. The choices were horses, donkeys, mules, camels, pigeons, dogs and cats. I picked cats and researched how cats were used in the war, then we had to make a Google Drawing and write what we learnt. This week we have been focusing on ANZAC Day. We have done lots of reading and watching of videos about ANZAC. This is one of the pieces of writing I did.

we made a chart of how much silver and gold coin donations we from the grandparents on wheels,toddlers on wheels and year 4,3,2 and 1

On Friday and Saturday 5th and 6th of April Ohaeawai school did a Wheel-a-hon  to raise money for the year 5&6 ski trip in September 2024 . This graft shows how much  coins we got from the little kids and grandparents. All of these coin in total is $89.50.

For reading we are doing extended discussions that we have to talk about the book we are reading and agree with others.
