this year has been pretty good so far I enjoyed doing wool art a couple of weeks ago. I also did a poster of what I like to do In my free time and who my family is, and what sports I like to play. I also went on a holiday to aussie for two weeks.

Being a year 8 in the senior hub is pretty good. Yesterday we got taught on how lightning and thunder forms. One of my favourite subjects in the senior hub is math because it’s very fun and easy to understand. The senior hub is very fun because we all ways have a fun time and

This year I am a year 8, and also one of the oldest at Coley Street School . It is so much different compared to last year There are new people new ideas and especially new opportunities. There have been so many opportunities for things like leadership roles, sports teams, and even out of school activities .

My 2024 goals are to give everything a go. So far it is going pretty well because I am in the middle of my goal of becoming a leader, trailing the manawatu sports team , as well as trying to do my very best in my academic performance.

My class this year has been very different compared to my  past years .(in a good way

My year for 2024 has gone pretty good.I am now in the senior hub,I remember when I used to think that going into the senior hub would be hard and difficult, but now that im in here its actually gone pretty good.So my 2024 in the senior hub has been amazing and its only been 7 weeks!.The senior hub has been quite different from my other class room 4.In room 4 we used to do the roll then straight to hand writing,reading,and spelling,but in the senior hub we get to do some fun before our work,like maths in the morning or quizzes.Now that im in the senior hub I can hangout with my friends like Braxton,Akaesha,Jamie,Jason,and many others.My favourite subject in the senior hub is definitely going to be maths.Maths is my favourite because if you get something wrong then you would be able to work it out with the teachers or your friends,but in room four you had to do it yourself.When I become a year 8 I maybe will go for leadership but maybe not.My second favourite subject is playtime,I like playtime because I can practice me soccer/football skills and I can go and play cricket with Braxton.Braxton is my friend because whenever I need help or whenever I want to play with someone he is there.

Why I didn’t want to be a leader for 2024. I didn’t want to be a leader because I am a bit shy around a lot of people so If I had to have a speech I would’ve mumble a lot. Another reason is some times I make bad and silly decision. But I wish people will vote Jason,Khloe,Ellie-May,Akaesha as leaders, Why I want them as leaders because they are my friends and also are very kind in all sorts of way.

how my year is going my year is going so good I’m understanding lots of work we do and it is quite good I think my most thing I like to do in here is free writing and maths I also like to do the activities and all the other stuff we do in here for me I wood say it is cool work and i’m writing more and more is Is fun and I like sharing my work but sometimes I get shy and I don’t no what to do and it can be hard for me and I can’t I also like tek it is cool and I’m in musc class and I hope I’m in wood work next.

Being a senior  feel’s like it can be a little bit challenging  but it is fun last year we got told their tanifar  but their not.We get credit in  work and if we muck up we don’t  have to reset.i find that in the senior hub that the start of the year I was bad at writing  but now  I’m really good at writing

As a year 7 the work as been hard but we are in week 6 or 7 and my reading writing and math as gotten better. Like my writing is way better I have been writing way more than I use to. My reading I can finally read books without picture books.The math is hard but it make me better and I can do it now because I couldn’t do it 2 weeks ago. but now I can do it really fast and if I don’t get it the teachers help the year 7 to do our work. On my reading tests I got good results and I was very happy because I don’t like reading. But I did really well and my mum and dad were really happy. In teach I’m doing wood works we are making a tool box then next term I get to do something else I don’t know what I’m going into but teach is fun and the senior hub and I made more friends.

How my year has been in the senior hub 2024

My year in the senior hub this year has been so fun and kind of easy at first I was nervos of coming  in the senior hub but now Im not.Ive always wanted to be with my friends in room 4 and now I am I always work with my friends in maths reading writting and topic its so fun working with them because they are so smart and cool.

 I well be telling about my year so far has be good 

This year is going pretty good and really fast at the same time. This term is nearly over it still feels like week one but in reality its actually week 6 but it is basically week 7 because week 6 is nearly over. I have made a lot of new friends coming in the senior hub. I reckon the senior hub is way better than my old ( room 3). Some of my new friends can be really annoying. But at least i have friends right?

what it is like being a year 7

Being a year seven in the senior hub is awesome we get to play games when we’re finished our work we also get to run around the track its

awesome.We got to learn about wool and done this wool art with pva glue and sticking it on white paper,we stuck it on the wall.

As soon as i became a year 7 i knew this was going to be easy and I was not scared.At the start i knew it was going to be a better year than last year because it had all of my friends and last year i had barely any.The first peace of work we did as a class was an about me sheet.The very first week was an easy week were we got to know everyone we had to go around class getting to know people.It was quite different work in the third week because we started to do spelling,maths,history and tests.After that we got into wool and went into the wool shed.We saw a sheep get shred and one ran away out of school bounds.We also found out wool dose not stick to pva glue because of the glue art i  found it quite hard.I have also learnt there is much more jobs to take care of.

It is cool but mostly scary because It’s my last year of school.

And It’s like nearly the end of the first term.

But it is also fun being a year eight because we will get to do fun staff derion this year.

When I started in the senior hub I wanted to hide but then I realized that its not that scary.It means a lot to me  that I’ve come this far in life and I want to keep it that way because one day I might start my own business and succeed and it will all be because of  the senior hub.It’s really fun in the senior Hub because we get to play a lot of games that are fun and exciting .My favorite subjects are math and writing .I love it how if I get a mistake its okay because I will always keep pushing until I get it right.In the senior Hub we get to go to tech and its so much fun because I’m in music.

Hi I’m Lily and my year is going ok. I am a year eight right now and I left lots of friends from last year and now we got some annoying year sevens and I just wanna go back to last year. it was fun being eleven but maths is more fun now and cooler and my Crohn’s disease is already better than last year but some of the year sevens are acting like five year olds and that’s not ok they need to grow up. but id like to go to college so I can get a job so I get money to be rich before my sister .

I love being a senior because it’s easy to learn and when you learn it feels easy and fun once you get the hang of it. I felt nervous when I first came but after the first day I came here and I feel very successful. My teachers(Whea Tina, Mrs Taylor and Ms Mcmelon) make me very happy to be here.

This year so far is going pretty good.

When I first arrived back at school in 2024 I was pretty nervous, and your probably wondering why, well I will tell you. When the bell rang to go to class  all my nervous energy was building up and when I entered the class all I did was walk toward my friends who were sitting on the steps so I went and sat with them.After a few days I came over my fear of the Senior hub and the teachers are really nice.I also have a lot of friends that are the best,and the work isn’t that hard either well some of it anyways.The Senior hub is the BEST.

I think the senior hub is the best class it is way better then room 3 the senior hub is not to loud its less strict its much bigger then room 3 and you can sit were you want unless the teacher says its much better and I love it in here its the best room.

Being in the senior hub has been really fun to do work art and so much other things .  I have gotten to now more people in my class and working with people I haven’t before which has help me get out of my shell . My teachers are so nice and fun , that help me love my class even more.
